8 Bridal Beauty Questions to Ask Yourself While Wedding Planning

Beauty blog bridal beauty | Tucker, GA | Crystal Ngozi Beauty & Esthetics

I know…I know! Your wedding planning is pretty much done. You’re an overachiever! But did you think about these aspects of your wedding? Here are 8 Bridal Beauty questions to ask yourself:

What is the condition of my hair, skin and nails?

It is important to evaluate the condition of your hair, skin and nails NOW. If you don’t currently pamper yourself with these services, now is the time to do so. You want to look great on your wedding day. Now is the time to start grooming your hair and get those ends trimmed. Start making sure your nails are hangnail free, soft and moisturized. And make sure you treat any breakouts, work on diminishing blemishes and acne scars.

Do I want lash extensions?

Your lashes may already be pretty long. But if you want some extra flare, you may want to try lash extensions. Lash extensions will not only enhance your eyes but they will also add volume!

Do I want hair extensions? And how will I be wearing my hair?

Hair extensions add volume and longevity to a style. Even if you hair is long or just the way you want it, you may still want to consider hair extensions for your wedding day. Additionally, do you want your hair colored? Or if you already have it colored, will you need a touch up by the wedding? These are all things to consider months in advance.

Will I wear my real nails, acrylic nail, or gel polish?

Wearing gel or acrylic nails will make your hands look polished. Even if you don’t get them super long, I suggest having your hand properly manicured and maybe even add extra length for this special day.

Do I plan to lose weight (or gain weight)?

What is the state of your health? Do you want to lose 10 lbs, or lean out? Or gain a little? Now is the time to get your nutrition in order. Don’t do a crash diet for your wedding! Give yourself plenty of time to get healthy. Your healthy choices (or bad habits) will show from the inside out.

Do I want to whiten my teeth?

Are your teeth as white as you want them to be? If not, see your dentist for recommendations on getting your teeth white and removing stains (including that red wine girl!).

Do I need to reshape or grow my brows?

One of my favorite quotes, “If eyes are the window to your soul then the brows are the curtains”. If your brows are over-waxed, over-tweezed or overgrown, seek assistance now! You may even want to consider getting your brows tinted to add more volume and give the appearance of thickness.

What do I want my Bridal Makeup to look like?

Now is the time to set up a makeup trial with your makeup artist. Explore different looks and colors. A Makeup trial will allot time with an expert to discover your dream look and your specific beauty needs. You can check out more details about choosing a makeup artist here: Rules & Tools to Choose the Right Makeup Artist for your Wedding Day!

And let’s not forget to try out all new looks 3-6 months prior to your wedding day if you can.  Bust out your calendar and map out your appointments!
